Gargi Basu joins NLSIU as a Research Associate to work on the Just Transitions on Indian Streets (JusTIS) project. She completed her B.A. (Hons.) in Sociology from Indraprastha College for Women (IPCW), University of Delhi, and her M.A. in Sociology from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. She pursued the Urban Fellows Programme (UFP) at the Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS). Her research interests include: labour, technology, sustainability, and media.
